This is a delicious smoothie and excellent for those with a dairy intolerance as the liquid for this drink is made from a variety of activated nuts.
I used a mix of soaked Almond, Brazil and Cashew nuts for the milk. The ratio I used was 1 cup nuts:2 cups water
I blended this for 1 minute on high and strained it through a nut bag to remove the pulp.
To the nut milk I added:
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4-1/2 tbsp of vanilla powder (ground up vanilla beans)
- hand ful of Goji berries
- 1 tbsp of coconut oil
I blended this also for 1 minute on high.
